Meetings, journeys, workshops: what a rich period!
12/3/2012 | Padova. We can feel spring is coming. It’s a
very fertile period at SID: the Master’s students have just ended their second of the three
modules and presented to the companies the final products they thought and designed. At the same
time our Institute has reached both major Italian events and other companies by organizing workshops
for creativity.
It happened for example at
Parco Fenice in Padua and at
TIS Innovation Park in Bolzano. We’re
telling you these
experiences on our SID Pills, which also try to dig into Scuola Italiana Design protgonists,
such as:
- current students, with their skills that go beyond the specific context of
design - for example, we made an interview with Chiara
Poletto;
- graduated students now working around the world, like Boris Pizzeghello
and Martina Pisetta - we’ll talk to her in the coming days.
Not just projects,
not just workshops, but also journeys: the first year students went to the
Triennale Design
Museum just few weeks ago and they’re going to Parma at the Fair
Mec Spe at the end of this month. Also, in mid-April (from April 17 to 22, save the
date) there will be the important and unmissable Salone del Mobile in Milan.
So, we’re
starting out the
last two months of lessons and teaching.
For some of us the graduation and the end of three busy years at SID is getting closer (no tears
yet, please!); for other ones it’s time to deliver the pre-enrolment forms in order to enjoy
our family in 2012/2013 and dream to
become creative designers in
life.
