Rest
“Since it was discovered, coffee was used as a ritual, now instead we are in the culture of “coffee in a minute.” The project aims to bring the archaic value of coffee, that of ritual. Taking inspiration from the tea ritual, “Rest” wants to connect more with the person through its smaller handle and height. This Moka carries a message of connection and rapprochement between the material and the subject. The first element of connection is the handle, so it was made the focal point of the design. It was molded in one piece together with the body creating an extension of it, emphasizing the point of contact without creating trammels.”
