The exhibition
The exhibition “From Paper to Product (With the Same Method)” represents a year’s worth of research carried out at SID on diverse and complex projects; the title refers to the approach that has made SID unique by distinguishing it from any design academy, a broad “design scale” that is inspired by the historic Bauhaus slogan “from the teaspoon to the city,” which nullified the distinction between small and large scale in design, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach.
The holistic method
Through the projects on display, guests will be able to perceive the variety of disciplines and outputs that emerge from a single educational path, the result of a design method capable of adapting to different dimensions and fields. This method represents the rich cultural background acquired by SID graduates, a knowledge they apply and transform
in the world of work, operating as designers in every field of design: from paper to product.
