    Learn about SID at Explorer Camp

    SID Explorer Camp is the new orientation format of SID Scuola Italiana Design. At present we are happy to report that we have reached the maximum number of members, see you in April 2026.

    The camp

    A four-day immersive experience in a unique location where 4th and 5th grade students will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the design method through the development of product, communication, and UI/UX projects alongside SID students and faculty.

    A camp open to all who wish to discover SID and have an introductory experience to the Three-Year Course in Design and Communication.

    Costs

    Places for the SID Explorer Camp are limited: to ensure your participation, we recommend that you register as soon as possible by filling out the form below.


    The departure of the camp will be confirmed on August 25, 2025. From that time, and in any case by August 31, it will be possible to make the payment of the participation fee of € 249.00 + tourist tax.


    In case of enrollment in the Three-Year Course in Design and Communication, the amount will be deducted from the first-year tuition fee.

    Location

    The camp will be held at the Anda Venice Hotel, a unique location that is ideal for a creative and immersive experience.

    Sunday, August 31

    6:30 p.m. – Welcome and Accommodation.
    7:30 p.m. – Welcome Aperitif and Introduction to Camp
    8:30 p.m. – Free Evening


    Monday, September 1
    10:00 a.m. – Breakdown into Working Groups and Thematic Areas
    (Product, Communication and UI/UX)
    11:00 a.m. – Start of Projects
    1:30 p.m. – Lunch Break
    2:30 p.m. – Continuation of Project Developments
    6:30 p.m. – End of Work
    7:30 p.m. – Venetian “Bacaro Tour”


    Tuesday, September 2
    10:00 a.m. – Setting Prototyping Phase of Projects
    11:00 a.m. – Prototyping and Printing Trials
    1:00 p.m. – Lunch Break
    2:30 p.m. – Finalization of Projects and Setting
    Final Presentations
    6:30 p.m. – End of Work


    Wednesday, September 3
    11 a.m. – Final Presentation of Projects
    1 p.m. – Final Speech and Closing Aperitif.
